Homebuyer Education
Fairmont/Morgantown Housing Authority believes that classroom style Homebuyer Education helps homebuyers make better decisions. Attendees are more informed about the home buying process which helps create more successful homeowners and stronger loan applications.
Fairmont/Morgantown Housing Authority follows the NeighborWorks® 'Realizing the American Dream'. Potential homebuyers attend the 8-hour session and receive a certificate of completion.

Fairmont/Morgantown Housing Authority is recognized by WVHDF, USDA Rural Development and GenWorth as a certified Homebuyer Educator. Various lenders require Homebuyer Education for applicants using specific loan products.
Homebuyer Education is offered at No Charge*. Call for reservation - (304) 363-0860-ext. 127. HBE classes are the 2nd Friday of the month from 9:00 - 5:00 PM**. Lunch and materials are provided.
