Fairmont Housing Authority Developments

The Fairmont Housing Authority offers 136 apartments in 7 separate developments.  Located on the East and West Side of Fairmont, each development is different and offers a number of attractive amenities. Units range in size from one bedroom to five bedroom apartments in several styles, Townhouse and Duplex. All developments have several fully handicap accessible units.

Fairmont Developments offer an apartment type just right for you and your family. Each apartment is equipped with kitchen appliances, washer/dryer hook-ups, forced air gas heat, gas hot water, on-site parking, generous yards, and new playgrounds among other amenities.

The Townhouse layout provides one to five bedroom units on two floors. Apartments include living room, kitchen/dining, one or two baths, ample closet space, and outside storage buildings.

The Duplex layout provides one and two story apartments that can meet a variety of tenant needs, including elderly and the disabled. Several of the apartments are fully handicapped accessible promoting independent living.

The Fairmont Housing Authority can tailor your rent to meet your individual economic situation. We have designed Fairmont Developments to be the "affordable choice" for apartments that are attractive, comfortable, and secure. Families who are at or below 50% of the area median income only pay 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent. Utilities vary per apartment complex and in most cases Fairmont Developments include some utilities in the rent (trash, lawn care, parking, and maintenance are always included in the rent).
