The Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority, proudly announce the historic renovation of the 80 year old Miller School in Fairmont, WV to a 46 apartment complex for the elderly. Miller School Apartments will undergo an $7 million dollar transformation to 26 one and 20 two bedroom apartments for low-income seniors. The project has been funded largely through Low Income Housing Tax Credits as well as state and federal historic tax credits. Construction began the first of October and is expected to be completed within 12 months. City Construction of Clarksburg is the General Contractor and the non-profit general partner is Augusta Development Corporation of Fairmont. FMHA Management, Inc. will operate and manage the apartment complex.
